MRT Dream Cruise Specials and Pre-Cruise Pump Up - 2010
Here in the Motor City, we love our cars. The Dream Cruise isn’t just another event; it’s a symbol of who we are. To celebrate our automotive passion and get pumped for the Woodward Dream Cruise, MRT is throwing a tailgate party the day before: Friday August 20th from 9am-3pm. There will be free food, car showcase, music, movie, charity poker, product specials, and more!
At the event, we’ll be offering unbeatable specials across our product lineup.** Want to upgrade your car’s muscle look or give it more performance sound? We’re offering 1/2 off installs on MRT Rear Window Louvers, Catbacks & Axle-Backs, MaxFlow H-Pipes, and Hood Struts. Need styling or lowering items for your car? Event Start 11:30 AM – Lunch is served 12:00 PM – Screening of Gone in 60 Seconds 2:30 PM – Raffle Winners announced 3:00 PM – Depart MRT for cruise to Dairy King in Downtown Plymouth
88.1 FM the Escape will be at the event broadcasting live from 9am-1pm. 88.1 is a local student radio station based in Plymouth-Canton. Check out their website here.
A charity poker table will be set up. The cost is $3 per game, and all proceeds will be donated to the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan. The Gleaners mission is to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of nutritious meal for hungry people in Metro Detroit. For more information, please visit their website.
After the Pump Up, we’ll be heading to get ice cream at the Dairy King in downtown Plymouth. Please note that at Dairy King purchases are cash only; no credit cards are accepted.
