The MRT Interceptor Axle Back Exhaust for the 2011-2012 Mustang GT with 5.0L V8 engine offers tough, muscle-car sound that turns heads for the right reasons. The free-flowing MRT Interceptor muffler provides a deep, muscular exhaust note. The MRT team of engineers went to work and the elusive system has finally arrived: Meet the Interceptor series of Axle Back Exhausts.

MRT Performance manufactures our Interceptor Axle Back Exhaust from the highest grade 304 Stainless Steel. This premium material is light-weight, supremely durable against rust and corrosion resistant. Installation of the exhaust is simple and drill-free. The MRT Interceptor Axle Back clamps-on directly in place of the factory axle back.
4-inch polished Stainless Steel exhaust tips come pre-welded to the axle back and are included with purchase. The Stainless tips can also be finished in Matte Black using Cerakote for an additional $80.00. Cerakote is a high temperature, durable ceramic coating. Cerakote offers a sinister look for your Mustang that can withstand the rigors of high-performance driving.
