MRT is proud to announce the MRT Hood Struts for 1979-1993 Fox Mustangs. The MRT Hood Struts eliminate the need for the factory hood prop rod and provide a clean and functional "performance look." They are the first No-Drill Hood Struts for Fox Mustangs on the after-market. Your Mustang deserves better than to have holes drilled into its hood. Get an impressive show-car look without giving your car a permanent handicap.

How? The MRT Fox Mustang Hood Struts reuse OEM factory attachment points. They're very easy to install and require only a 7/16 wrench. Absolutely no holes and no extra bolts are required during installation. Simply bolt the kit on and go!

Team MRT engineered and manufactures the MRT Hood Strut Kit for 1979-1993 Mustangs in the United States. We designed these Hood Struts to work with the factory hood. If you have an aftermarket hood, our tech team may be able to assist you in the adjustment process or provide you with a higher or lower pressure gas strut. Struts in the kit are finished in black. Brackets are made out of high-quality steel for utmost durability. They come standard with a quality Black PowderCoat Finish. MRT can also paint your brackets in any paint color. Please provide a paint code when ordering. There is an additional $40 fee for this service and does require a 3-5 day lead time.
