MRT's 2005 SEMA project car was a 2006 V6 Mustang Convertible. But don't let it's six-cylinder engine deceive you. This classy, twin-turbo convertible features a carload of custom accessories ranging from powertrain and suspension to custom paint and entertainment systems.

The MRT Cherry 6T6 features a Stock V6 (4.0L) Engine with inter-cooled twin-turbos making 7lbs of boost and a Custom tune calibrated by MRT (Check out SCT Tuners here).
The 2005-2010 Mustang V6 (MRT AeroTurbine AxleBack gives the Cherry an agressive rumble that fits with its sophisticated muscle statement.
Brakes are upgraded to 8-piston calipers in the front and single slotted rotors in the back.
Chassis components include an H&R Coil Over Kit (41A002) and the MRT Adjustable Panhard Bar (46A003.
Perhaps the Cherry 6T6's most dinstinctive feature is its custom Dark Candy Apple Red paint job. At the show, no other car sparkles and capitivates with its deep red hue quite like the Cherry does! The paint was completed in collaboration with students at Washtenaw Community College.
The interior of the vehicle has accents for every taste, including custom leather seats, a matching tonneau cover, a custom shift knob, carbon fiber dash treatment, and a powerful entertainment system! The audio/video system boasts 6 video screens, a backup video camera, over 1000 watt Rockford amps complemented by 8 speakers and 3 subwoofers.
The Cherry’s show car appearance is finished off with a sleek 13.5" MRT shorty antenna (12M000) and MRT Hood Struts (80A012), which eliminate the factory prop rod.
